Badger Weir, Healesville: we wander along the banks of Coranderrk Creek on Wurrundjeri Country a few kms from the township of Healesville. The walk is 3km in total and we allow 3 hours from the beginning to end of the tour. We gather at Badger Weir Picnic Ground, Healesville.
What to Expect
This tour is designed to create an opportunity for participants to connect more deeply with their own direct experience of nature and expand their understanding of the relationship between human wellbeing and intact ecologies.

- The guide will speak to particular ecological, geological and hydrological stories as we move through the landscape. We will stop at multiple locations to hear these stories.
- There will be a series of mindfulness-based invitations between stops that intend to support participants to deepen into their own experience and relationship with the forest ecology.

Nathan Wainwright is a mindfulness and ecological guide focused on reconnecting people to the living world. A background in ecology, psychosynthesis and meditation Nathan supports people in listening to, interacting with and understanding the living world. Engaging mindfulness-based practices and sharing stories of the landscape Nathan facilitates an experience that allows participants to connect with themselves and the landscape.
